MagRunner: Dark Pulse is one of those games released in recent times that is set to do just that, and with something else extra that plenty of people may really like.

This is a first person puzzle game with Cthulu in it, with a healthy level of difficulty and a good bit of polish. Set in a technology-driven future, you have to negotiate gaps and obstacles as a "Magrunner", who is one of the space explorers that must prove himself to be worthy of getting to the next level. It's not really a fleshed-out plot, so don't expect any deep storytelling in this game. But what it does have though is some Lovecraftian flair, which is always a good thing.
